S is for RE-SET
Sooner or later you run out of steam- energy- gas.
Trying to be all things to all people, you can end up running yourself ragged.
Your day is filled with endless tasks and to-do lists.
You go and go and go and go……
Day in and day out there is ALWAYS something to do. Rushing around like a hamster on a wheel, not knowing how to slow down or stop.
It’s no wonder that you feel so tired and burned out.
It’s time to RE-SET.
Plan a specific time just for you.
Find a half hour or hour somewhere in your week.
You can start with finding 5 minutes in your day and work your way up from there if you need to.
Find a quiet space or a place that is ‘less noisy’ than your usual environment.
Connect to yourself and relax into your breaths.
Right now there are no ‘shoulds’ or ‘have-tos’ – Just enjoy the adult ‘Time-Out’ session.
Remember who you are and just ‘chill’ for a bit.
Make that connection and feel whole again.
Get tuned-in and re-energize.
Feel the stillness and relax.
Experience the peace and have your very being smile.
Everything will be there waiting for you when you’re done…right where you left it.
For now – for a few minutes – it just wont occupy your space- physically or mentally.
Until we meet again…Have a SENSATIONAL day!

Re-setting is good advice. We all have such busy lives that we fail to take in what’s right around us, especially nature. I think getting out in nature is a wonderful way to re-set. And the concentrating on your breathing, like you said, is also very calming.
A massage wouldn’t hurt either… 🙂
Good post!
